For the Raptor Education Program
To educate the public and create a connection with our local wildlife, the Chintimini Wildlife Center offers several exciting opportunities that will take you face-to-face with the amazing animals who live here.
Chintimini Tour: $40 for 10 individuals
Enjoy a guided tour of our display bird enclosures as well as our beautiful wetlands. Hear the story of our center and the dedication it takes to care for 1,500 patients every year with a behind-the-scenes video. Tours run 45-60 minutes with a $5 for each additional guest (K-12 school events exempt from additional charge).
Birds of Prey Presentation: $150 for 25 individuals
Looking for a great classroom, family, or work-outing idea? The Raptor Conservation Program holds programs in our Education Center! These programs include presentations with up to two of our Raptor Ambassadors as part of an interactive discussion on Oregon's amazing Birds of Prey. Staff will lead all guests through interactive touch table activities that include skulls, feathers, and other wild artifacts. Learn about the life history of native wildlife and ways we can conserve and protect our local fauna. Please be prepared to separate into groups of approximately 10-15 for touch table activities and a tour of our education center and display birds. Presentations run 60-90 minutes with a $7 charge will be added for each additional guest (K-12 school events exempt from additional charge).
Wild Encounters!: $75 for 4 individuals
(or add it onto an Educational Program for only $50 extra)
Have you ever wanted to take a stroll with a Turkey Vulture? Or spend an afternoon in our wetlands with an owl? Well here's your chance! We offer several intimate encounter opportunities where you will get the chance to face-to-face with one of our Raptor Ambassadors. Encounters include a private tour of our center with a raptor and their handlers, a tour of our many display birds, and a photo opportunity. Encounters are 30-45 minutes long and available for up to 4 people per encounter.

Birthday Parties: $150 for 10 individuals
Looking to take your birthday to the wild side? Then a wildlife themed birthday is exactly what you need. Birthdays at our Educational Center include a 30-45 minute Birds of Prey talk and rental of the Education Center for 2 and 1/2 hours. You may arrive early to decorate.
Want to upgrade to our "Wildlife Wonders" Birthday Package
? For only an additional $25, we will provide wildlife themed crafts, a touch table of our mammal artifacts, wildlife game time guided by one of our staff members, and a wild goodie bag for the birthday girl or boy!
Birthdays are for up to 10 guests and a charge of $7 will be added for each additional individual. For children birthdays, parents are welcome to participate for free and we ask a 1:5 adult to child ratio is observed.
Bird of Prey Presentation: $150
Can't make it to our center? Don't worry, we can come to you! No matter the audience size, our travel-trained Raptor Ambassadors can come to your next event. - Name, email, and phone number of individuals requesting the program
- Two options for the date and two options for the time of the program, if possible (e.g., Dec. 3rd or Dec. 5th at 10 or 11am)
- Any special needs or requests
- How you heard about us
- Name and address to which our invoice should be sent
