Meet Our New Executive Director!
Dear Chintimini supporters,
I am so honored to take on the role of Executive Director here at Chintimini Wildlife Center! I am thrilled to join this dynamic team of staff, volunteers, and supporters who are passionate about our mission to celebrate and conserve wildlife and who advocate daily to coexist peacefully with our wild neighbors.
It has only been three weeks and I have already started to experience the core of this organization’s legacy – more than three decades of unwavering dedication and generosity from members of this community. This shared belief in wildlife advocacy inspires me, and I look forward to preserving and building upon that legacy.
As a longtime wildlife advocate, I am excited to utilize my diverse background in nonprofit management, conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation to help facilitate the future growth and success of CWC. Our staff will continue to ensure the highest quality care for our wild patients and effectively use our resources to continue making positive impacts that serve the natural world.
It takes an entire community to keep our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife a continued reality; these services are made possible by your generous support! There are many opportunities to support our work here at Chintimini Wildlife Center. I welcome the chance to get to know you — our donors, partners, and neighbors — and invite you to reach out and introduce yourselves at any time.
Gratefully, Catherine Mendez, Executive Director
