Wildlife Rangers After-School Program
Nurturing the love of nature naturally.
About: Wildlife, by nature, is very diverse. Each Thursday for 5 weeks, we will examine a new topic through exploration, games, crafts and occasional videos. If your child is interested in invertebrates, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and exploring, these programs are for them.
There will be two sessions offered for spring. You can do one or both!
Length of session: 4 or 5 weeks on Thursdays
Times: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Ages: Grades 2 through 5
Cost: $55-65 per session per child (or both sessions for $105)
Afternoon snack is provided.

FALL 2017 - SESSION 2 - Awesome Adaptations!
Dates: November 9 to December 14 (5 weeks - No program for Thanksgiving week)
Time: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Description: Do you know the difference between hibernation and torpor? How do beavers live in the water when temperatures are below freezing? Do you know if a bear is a "true" hibernator? Each week we will discover the super powers that help animals survive harsh winter elements.
Fun activities for all! Creating nature animals, discovering a long-toed salamander, exploring the creek can be messy business!
