Bo the Barn Owl

Bo was taken from his nest in 2007 and was kept as an illegal ‘pet’ for several years before his owner surrendered him to a wildlife center in Oregon. At some point during that time, he badly injured his right wing, and unfortunately, the wing had to be amputated.

Having only one wing has not slowed him down – he loves going for walks with his handlers!

Bo is quite the explorer as well; he will check under every rock, log, and doorway to see if there might be a new adventure hiding.
