Horner Museum 100 Kickoff Celebration

Join Chintimini Wildlife Center at the Corvallis Museum on Thursday, February 20 at 6:00 pm for a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Horner Museum! They will be celebrating with hors d’oeuvres and drinks, fun activities, and an exciting sneak peek of a new exhibit upstairs in the Verhoeven Gallery!

This event is a kickoff celebration for a year-long fundraising campaign in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Horner Museum.

Family Fun Day at the Oregon Logging Conference

Saturday, February 22, 2025
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wheeler Pavilion, Lane County Fairgrounds

For more than a decade families have delighted in the fun educational exhibits and activities at OLC’s Family Day. In addition to the activities in the wheeler Pavilion at the Lane Event Center and Fairgrounds, all exhibits and equipment on display are free and open to the public on Family Day.

Educational activities:

Paper-making.
Wildlife exhibits (Chintimini Wildlife Center!)
Build your own bird feeder
Free seedlings
Learn about the age of a tree and other tree-related activities
Clowns
Free popcorn
Millions of dollars in logging equipment to explore

Winter Wildlife Field Days

A bilingual and accessible nature adventure hosted throughout the entire month of March and all across the mid-Willamette Valley!  Everything is free with in-person events in your favorite nearby nature spots, including places you won’t need a car to get to.
