Get Outdoors Day
May 31st 10 am – 3 pm at Peavy Arboretum (shuttle at Crescent Valley High School)
During this event, the forest brims with bilingual activities, families, and community groups – all coming together with the goal of getting people outside, enjoying community, and hopefully trying something new along the way (like catching a fish in Cronemiller Pond for the first time).
We make sure to offer free transportation to the event to ensure that every family has a chance to take part in the fun.
CWC’s Education Team will be there with many of our Ambassador reptiles and invertebrates, enjoying a day in the forest!

Twilight Tour
June 11 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Chintimini Wildlife Center
BSWCD is holding their first Twilight Tour of the year at Chintimini Wildlife Center, focusing on our pollinator garden and native plant work. Our dedicated garden space, which is funded in part by a grant from Benton Soil and Water Conservation, functions as a haven for pollinators and as an immersive platform for visitors to understand the intricate relationships between plants, insects, and the environment in the Willamette Valley.
Sign up through BSWCD’s website, this is a free event but space is limited.

Songs for Songbirds

They are donating 10% of their proceeds all day (minus alcohol) to Chintimini Wildlife Center. We will be there, along with three musical guests, and our reptiles and invertebrates!
