Tskili the Great Horned Owl

In 1999, a harsh windstorm knocked Tskili and his sibling from their nest high in the trees. While his sibling remained unharmed, Tskili injured one of his wings and was no longer able to fly properly. He joined our Education Program in the early days and helped foster a connection with Great Horned Owls for thousands of people. He is now enjoying his retirement at the Chintimini Wildlife Center and is still admired by tour groups. Tskili’s favorite thing to do is sit by the front of his room and observe everything that happens within his view.
