Junior came to the Chintimini Wildlife Center in the fall of 1997 after being found unable to fly by a good samaritan. He had suffered a broken wrist which had already healed incorrectly, fusing the wrist joint closed and leaving his flight ability heavily impaired. Junior can often be found sunbathing on his favorite perches and flirting with his caretakers. He loves the frozen treats his handlers create for him in the summer and staying cozy under his heat lamp in the winter!
